provide email address(es) for your recommender(s). When the application is submitted they will receive an email asking them to submit a letter of recommendation to us electronically.

Official transcripts will no longer be required by the Graduate School for an admissions decision. For admission consideration, only a scanned copy of the transcript is required.Transcripts are considered official when they arrive directly from the school in a sealed envelope. The Graduate School will accept transcripts first received by the applicant and then forwarded to the Graduate School, provided that the transcripts stay in their original, sealed envelope. Once the applicant or someone outside the University of Cincinnati opens the transcript envelope, the Graduate School can no longer accept the transcript as official.

The writers may submit their letters via email (preferred) or regular mail. You will provide the name of each writer, his or her employer, and his or her email address on this application and we will expect a letter of recommendation to come from the email address provided. If email is not available, the writer should put the completed form in an envelope, seal the envelope, and sign his or her name on top of the seal.
