　　住宿

　　哥伦比亚大学住宿管理部门为5200名本科生提供住宿服务。哥大的住宿项目（Residential Programs）旨在创造良好宿舍环境以支持同学们学习。宿舍辅导员（Resident Adviser）是跟学生接触最密切的住宿管理工作人员，通常由一名高年级的本科生担任。宿舍辅导员通常跟学生同住一层，以帮助学生解决可能遇到的学业上和住宿上的各种问题。对于宿舍楼层的噪音、舍友间的矛盾、宿舍间的冲突以及其他与宿舍相关的问题，学生都可以直接告知宿舍辅导员。哥大宿舍管理部门要求学生在入住宿舍时签订协议，承诺遵守各项规定，承担住宿责任。哥大住宿部门官方网站上列出了详细的住宿规定和宿舍服务，涉及内容包括空调、暖气、电视、微波炉、家具等设备的使用情况，以及物品损坏后的赔偿协定等，同时，对饮酒、吸烟、做饭、饲养宠物、访客、以及性骚扰等行为作出了规定。本科新生可以根据自己的喜好决定住进哪一栋宿舍楼、选择单人间还是双人间、单一性别楼层还是男女混住楼层。哥大住宿管理部门在处理学生住宿问题时会充分考虑学生的特点，比如大一新生必须在入学前填写食宿申请表，通过电子邮件发给校方，此申请表可以由学生修改或重新填写。再比如，根据以往的经验，交换学生相对倾向于住在同一宿舍或宿舍楼，校方会尽量把所有的交换学生安排在一起，以方便交流。新生住宿还有一些特别的服务，非常人性化。比如，新生可以对自己的舍友设定特别的要求。一些因为身体残疾而对住宿有特别要求的同学，校方也会尽量满足。

　　餐饮

　　哥伦比亚大学餐饮部一直都以他们提供的高品质食物和高品质服务而自豪。在餐饮部的主页上，你可以查到最近几天食堂的食谱，做好未来几天的用餐计划；可以看到哪些餐厅和咖啡馆在营业；也可以追踪你最近的营养摄入是否均衡；甚至还可以看到一些关于食物的趣闻等。学校比较值得光顾的餐厅包括：Uris Deli、Blue Java Coffee Bar、Lenfest Cafe等等。

　　校园活动

　　哥伦比亚的特色之一在于它地处纽约，与华尔街、联合国总部和百老汇比邻。在这个全国的文化，金融，外交中心，你可以在读书的过程中找到适合自己发展的机会。特色之二在于它所处的社区。晨边高地地处黑人哈林与西裔哈林区交界处，乃是二十世纪中期“垮掉的一代”(Beat Generation）文艺运动的发源地，周围有诸多充满纽约味的知名爵士乐酒吧、表演中心、咖啡厅等夜生活去处。在校内，大草坪，小餐馆，方便的购物商场，运动中心等地是学生课余小歇之处。各个学生社团也会组织各类休闲社交活动，如商学院组织的Spring Ball晚会等。

　　哥伦比亚大学位于美国纽约市曼哈顿区。曼哈顿面积约59.5平方千米，人口160万。

　　文化生活

　　该校属于常春藤联盟。曼哈顿是纽约的市中心，纽约最重要的商业、金融、保险机构均分布在这里。世界金融中心―华尔街分布在曼哈顿下城，而纽约的大企业、商业中心分布于曼哈顿中城。

　　自然景观

　　曼哈顿著名的观光景点包括上城的中央公园、上城东区、大都会博物馆、古根汉博物馆、麦迪逊大道、上城西区、林肯中心、美国自然历史博物馆、哈林区以及77街以北的博物馆大道〈Museum Miles〉。中城区除了拥有与天争高的摩天大楼如帝国大厦、克莱斯勒大楼、洛克菲勒中心，还邻近商业中心时报广场、百老汇剧院区、名牌货物集散地的第五大道、中央车站。下城区则以金融为中心，著名景点包括苏活区、纽约证券交易所、世界金融中心、南街海港、格林威治村〈Greenwich Village〉、炮台公园〈Battery Park〉。在下城区还有一处位于自由岛上的自由女神像。

　　气候

　　曼哈顿的气候比较温和。一月气温最低，约为零下9°；七八月份最热，约为30°；各月平均温度在摄氏零度以下至八度左右。纽约的四季非常分明，春天看得到路树冒新芽，夏天也会出现30度以上高温，午后也偶有阵雨；秋天树梢的枫红会明白告诉你秋天到了，而冬天零度以下的冰冷和白雪会让羽绒服发挥很大作用。

　　交通

　　曼哈顿的公共交通非常方便，有很多地铁和公共汽车线路，四通八达。住在里面的人根本不需要私车。地铁离地面很近，只要下很少的台阶。有的地铁站很小，有的较大，多层，多站台。里面还算干净，就是非常闷热。一张票$2.25，只要不出站，可以随便坐。曼哈顿里的出租车，随处都有，统一标价，打表收费。如果出纽约市，需要事先跟司机讨论价格。起价$3，每五分之一迈（不到半公里）就跳字。根据早晚时间，行驶等待时间，行李等情况，收费不同。在曼哈顿旅游，双层观光车是不错的选择。2天约$60，在主要景点都有站，可以随时上下，车上有导游。机场/接机信息：需要接机的同学请与CSSA联系。哥大附近的地铁有1号线及A/B/C/D线。1线在110街、116街、125街Broadway均有站。A/B/C/D线在125街St-Nicolas Ave有站，其中A线是去JFK机场的。

　　周边企业

　　世界金融中心华尔街就在曼哈顿下城，在此有着多家世界顶尖银行业与金融业巨头驻扎。曼哈顿中城是曼哈顿的商业中心。进入20世纪后，其他许多非赢利的办公机构，如工会、研究部门、专业团体、政府机构等，也都集中于此，许多相关的专职事务所如房地产、广告业、税务部门等也迅速聚集其周围，原来设在岛南部的保险业及银行也被中城良好的环境吸引而来。这些在全世界各个领域有着统治地位的各个企业将为哥伦比亚大学的毕业生提供得天独厚的就业环境。上面提到的企业与公司包括：高盛、花旗集团（Citigroup）、时代华纳、摩根士丹利、纽约时报公司、TIFFANY＆CO、纳斯达克OMX集团。

　　安全

　　在哥大校园内有保安巡逻，监控设备分配比较合理，校内安全有保障。但是学校附近有黑人区。“在麦迪逊花园后面靠近第九大道”白天非常热闹，可凌晨一点时刻，一切都已沉寂，街头没有人影，即使偶尔有个把人影晃晃悠悠走过来都会吓老伯一跳，千万小心，千万！千万！该校所在位置属于大型城市，该区域的毒品/枪支犯罪率(每千人)为3.87。

A：高一新生面临选课，除了语数英，其他都不怎么样。现在高考绝大多数省份都是3+1+2形式。语数英就是前面的3。那就需要再选“1”然后选个“2”。其他几门都不怎么好，那么首先我们选“1”，按照新高考的规定，这个“1”只能在物理和历史当中选择。成绩不太突出的孩子，我们建议选物理，因为选择物理范围非常广泛。将来报考志愿专业广泛，学校广泛。比较适合成绩中下等的孩子。新高考模式一共12种组合，选择物理的六种，选择历史的六种。我们具体看一下哪六种:带物理的共六种选择。我们具体分析一下，哪一种更适合这个孩子。一、物理+化学+生物这三个组合相当于原来的理科组合，尖子生云集，不太适合成绩中下的孩子。有实际的例子，有的省份刚刚考试出来成绩，这样的组合生物、化学尖子生成了炮灰。有些尖子生物理也不明显，化学更是全军覆没。如图所示，化学都被赋成了b，或者是c，a或者是a+很少，生物也是b，或者是b+，a或者是a+也很少。要知道这个班是相对成绩比较好的班级，不是中下等的班级，为什么会有这种情况？没有赋分制的情况下，这个班级成绩是在前面的。这种情况说明学霸越集中，虽然可能才差个一两分，但是这一两分差距的是几个档，赋分就差距很大，中下等的孩子越吃亏，所以这种选择不适合。有可能被赋分很低。二、物理+化学+地理这个组合，把生物换成了地理，地理虽然以前属于文科专业，但是理科的思维。一般物理学习好的孩子地理都会不错。而且我们看到这个组合在全国大学专业覆盖率当中，可报专业比例还是很高的，达到了99.4%。三、物理+化学+政治我们从上面的专业覆盖率当中可以看到，这个组合的覆盖率仅是98.9%,也就是有的专业是受限的，从这方面考虑来说，这个组合可能有点吃亏。如果想从事医药或者是医学行业，大多数选物理和化学的组合。中医的话，选择这个组合比较合适。四、物理+政治+生物这个组合是理科的，但又加入了文科的政治。这个组合的专业覆盖率是99%，稍稍低了一些。而且政治的思维和物理生物的思维其实不是很一样。政治又属于那种很好学，但是难拿高分的那种。特别还要考时事政治。如果理科思维较强的孩子不适合报这种。如果文科稍好的，可以考虑。五、物理+生物+地理我们首先看这个组合，专业覆盖率是99%，而且地理的思维模式和物理生物基本相同。而且从调查结果看，很多学生也喜欢这个组合。这个组合用地理代替了原来的化学，地理偏向于逻辑分析和计算，更倾向于理科生，和理科的物理、生物的罗辑思维相靠近，理科生容易学习好，并且拿到高分，而相比之下，化学难度加大，需要耗费大量的精力，而且化学竞争激烈，赋分有可能降低。相比之下，这个组合更有优势，有利于提高分。六、物理+地理+政治这个组合专业覆盖率是99%，但是地理和政治属于两个文科，如果学生偏向于文科的，可以考虑这个组合。我们重点关注一下政治可以选的科目，前段时间，习近平总书记强调了全社会加强思政教育，从小学、初中、高中到大学，都要全面加强，未来这方面的老师会很缺乏，并且这个科目方向也会很好。如果有至于学习法学或者是经济学的，这个组合是一个很好的组合。既不影响将来的高考报考，还可以报考很多文科专业。七、在选择科目的时候切忌几点:1、一窍不通乱选择新高考改革，没有资料，甚至都没有数据参考，考生不了解，家长也不明白，胡乱选择，这种情况下是大忌，不利用自己的优势就去上战场，和人家去战斗，结果可想而知。2、人云亦云跟随别人有的学生没有主见，没有目标院校和专业，看别人选什么就选什么，好朋友学什么就学什么，新考考最好的一个方向就是可以选择自己的专业，在这里一定要看自己想从事哪一个行业，而不是跟随别人的选择走。3、跟着感觉走不理性这种情况是最为普遍的，有的学生只根据自己的情况来定，没有考虑其他人。感觉自己某个科目可以学的好。比如说地理，可能初中学的很好，但是高中很难，未必学得很好。或者政治学的很好，物理学的不好，但是政治如果赋分的话，更有优势。如果选择了物理，可能被学霸秒成了渣。所以一定要全方位的衡量。不要跟着感觉走。4、只靠兴趣爱好，不考虑其他高一阶段就选择科目，有的孩子兴趣根本没有定下来，有的因为喜欢某一个老师，而喜欢某一个科目，这种现象还不少。这种都是非理性的。我们一定要知道科目的选择，决定了未来高考的方向，决定了我们高考是否能胜利。综上所述，这个学生语数英很好，其他科没有优势的前提下，如果偏理选择物理+地理+化学，如果偏文选择物理+地理+政治是最好的选择。充分考虑到孩子的兴趣、能力、专业志向等多方面分析，最大限度的发挥学生学科潜质。决胜高考!
