　　实习

　　堪萨斯大学的就业中心提供综合性的实习资源。学生们可以了解校友的实习机遇，找到适合自己的实习列表和能够获得学分的实习机会。

　　奖学金

　　堪萨斯大学竭力保证学费的可负担性。多年以来，大学一直保持学费低的优势，堪萨斯大学的学费相比于美国大学联盟的其他大学低很多。并且为了帮助学生节省预算，大学为大一新生固定了学费，直到学生获得学士学位的四年内，大学不再增长学费。

　　如果申请秋季学期入学，堪萨斯大学会为合格的国际大一新生和国际转学生提供部分奖学金。但想要获取奖学金的同学必须在1月15日之前完成秋季学期的在线申请。

　　奖学金获取条件：3.5以上的GPA，较高的托福或雅思成绩，较高的ACT或SAT成绩，3封推荐信，一篇论文陈述。

　　作为全美最美丽的校园之一，堪萨斯大学中心校区坐落于历史悠久的Mount Oread山脉，校园占地1000英亩，归属于一个9万人口的堪萨斯东部社区。堪萨斯大学13个学院中，有10所学院建立在这里，它们是世界著名的研究中心与实验中心。

　　堪萨斯州属温带大陆性气候，有严冬酷暑，温差变化大，但时间不长。1月平均气温－3～1℃，7月平均气温24～27℃。年平均气温为13℃。生长期从4月中旬到9月中旬，年平均降水量东南部为1000毫米，西部为500毫米。堪萨斯全州的平均降水量约690毫米。西部降水集中在夏季，常有旱灾和沙暴天气。堪萨斯州以天气晴朗而闻名，该州每年有超过275天以上的晴天。
