The results of the transcript assessment will indicate the prerequisite modules that you have been exempt from based on your prior education and the prerequisite modules which you must complete in order to meet the entrance requirements for the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP).

Recommendation Letter:
All applications must be supported by a minimum of two confidential letters of recommendation. A suitable referee is an individual who is fully knowledgeable and aware of your education and abilities. Referees should be academic in nature where possible. Professional referees will only be accepted in situations where the applicant's professional experience is most relevant. You will need to supply the names of your referees, and their email address, in the online application.
Writing Sample:
Your Writing Sample must be uploaded in Carleton Central as a PDF document.
You will want to limit the size of the sample so you can upload it in Carleton Central. If you receive an error during upload, your sample may be too large a file. |

Ensure the information is correct and the referees have been informed of their role. Referees should be able to comment on your academic background and aptitude for graduate school. Professional journalists applying for advanced standing may list professional references.
Writing Sample:
One set of Writing Samples — ideally works of journalism. Your samples should display your skills as a writer, researcher or thinker. The samples should consist of newspaper and magazine clippings, and newsletters (all of these are to be uploaded online – maximum of three). Please indicate whether your sample has been published or broadcast and include details of the airdate where appropriate. If you are uploading essays from your undergraduate degree, select those that, in your view, represent your best work. |
