You must submit two official sets of transcripts (and degree certificates from institutions that do not indicate the awarding of degrees on the transcript) from all post-secondary institutions attended, regardless of the number of courses taken or the amount of time spent there. Send the documents directly to the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. Transcripts and degree certificates issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by certified, word-for-word English translations. To be considered official, all academic records must be received by the department in envelopes that have been sealed and endorsed by the issuing institution. Transcripts received from applicants or any other third party will be considered unofficial.
Recommendation Letter:
Two references are required from referees prepared to provide a report. Your referees will be asked to supply a reference for you via an online upload. You will need to know your referee's email addresses when you apply for admission.
Upon submission of your application, your referees will be sent an email containing the reference request and the appropriate link to the required documents. Reference requirements are individual to each graduate program and the requirements are specified in the link contained in the email. The email will also contain a link where referees are able to upload the required document(s). You will be able to see the status of your referees in your student centre and both you and your referee will receive a confirmation email when the referee request has been completed. |

A second official sealed set must be provided to a certified translator. The translator must provide a word-for-word translation of the transcript and notarize the translation. These documents must be put in a sealed envelope by the translator. Curriculum Vitae:
A detailed resume indicating volunteer or paid experience relevant to social work. Please include educational history, professional experience (including teaching), professional and educational awards/distinctions, publications, and presentations.
Personal Statement:
A study plan (statement of intent) outlining the applicant’s educational goals and career expectations. The study plan must indicate the applicant’s intended area of specialization: Clinical Social Work Practice, Leadership in the Human Services, or International and Community Development.
Recommendation Letter:
Two reference letters, preferably one academic, and one professional. If an applicant is unable to provide an academic reference, a second professional reference can be submitted instead. |
